The last few weeks have been busy in the most wonderful way.

One of our very favorite retailers, Dawn Price Baby, is opening a new shop right in our home town at the Reston Town Center!  We are over the moon!!

The shop is scheduled to open this Spring.  Details coming soon!

how to care for your cone

a few tips for caring for your cone:

• hanging your chart: we provide dry wall anchors, screws and painted pegs with each growth chart.  if your chart has measurement numbers painted on it you will want to hang it a foot off the ground.  once you line up the holes where you need them to be you should drill the anchors into the wall.  then line the chart holes up where the anchors are and drill the screws into the anchors through the holes in the chart.  once the chart is secured into the wall take the painted wooden pegs and press them into the holes to cover up the screws and voila!

• marking your chart:  all of our charts are given a few coats of water based clear poly to protect them from messy, sticky fingers.  the best way to mark your growing childrens' heights on them is with a paint pen.  we recommend a fine-tipped paint pen made by sharpie which you can get at any craft store.  they are easy to use and the words will not fade over time.

we have very exciting news to report.  today our ice cream cone growth charts are being launched in another retail store and we could not be more thrilled about it!

Young Elegance in charming old town fairfax is now carrying sugar cone growth charts.  this beautiful children's boutique is filled with gorgeous smocked clothing, embroidered baby gifts, colorful hair bows and more...everything in this shop is special and we are so honored to be included among the treasures in this shop.
